created in Lago AtitlÁn, Guatemala.

All fabrics are remnants/scraps of the roll or cut pieces from big manufacturers that “dump” in an indigenous village that recycles and resells the “waste”.

Nicholas sifts through mountains of rolls and bags to find unique fabrics and buys locally woven “Cortes” which is the typical wear of the mayan people.
He then brings all these together with his thoughtful designs and the Magical as Fuck team of artists/tailors on the lake.

This project supports over 12 families with its work, with everyone being paid very well.
Nicholas respects and acknowledges the fact that he is a “Gringo” here and wants to honor the indigenous community to the best of his ability.

Making fashion this way means that every piece is unique and limited edition.
